"President Nellis, Have A Heart"

On Thursday, February 13th, representatives from the Classified Employees, 1699 Facility Union Members, Faculty and Students delivered a box of over 400 Valentines Day cards to the office of President Nellis. The cards urged Nellis to, "Have A Heart" and support the needs of his employees. These needs included accepting Voluntary Recognition for Classified Employees, agreeing to a fair contract for Facility Employees, and protect Instructional Faculty jobs. Representatives from each of the groups in attendance made a statement about their participation in the action and once again stated why Nellis needed to work harder for his employees.
